  • Man Utd to leave Old Trafford

Manchester United have confirmed they will leave Old Trafford and build a new stadium.

The club will spend £2billion on developing a new 100,000 seater ground.

  • United 'optimistic' over Mazraoui deal

Manchester United are optimistic on completing a deal for Noussair Mazraoui according to the Manchester Evening News.

The deal depends on selling Aaron Wan-Bissaka to West Ham.

But that is complicated by the fact that West Ham are also trying to sign Mazraoui and have agreed personal terms with the right-back themselves.

  • Lindelof back in United training

Victor Lindelof is back in full training for Manchester United.

The defender resumed training at the club's UCLA training base.

His return is timely, with Leny Yoro going off injured in Manchester United's pre-season friendly with Arsenal.

  • Hojlund and Yoro injuries

For the moment, it is too early to tell the severity of injuries to Rasmus Hojlund and Leny Yoro.

The pair went off injured against Arsenal in a preseason friendly.

Erik Ten Hag confirmed after the game: "Of course it is too soon [to comment]. We have to wait over 24 hours and then we know hopefully more.

"We were very careful especially with Leny, he did only 50 per cent from the sessions and then it is very disappointing that he then has to come off but let's be positive and see what is the outcome."

  • Eriksen future

Man Utd are asking for the relatively low figure of £4million for Christian Eriksen.

The Red Devils reportedly want to get him off their books, ahead of his contract expiring in 2025.

Eriksen joined United on a free transfer, so any money United could receive would be a profit.

  • United's cost cutting

Man Utd's cost-cutting behind-the-scenes has been explained by the club's CEO Collette Roche.

She revealed: "There will be other departures too as we continue to restructure the club to ensure we have the right people in the right roles for long-term success.

"Significant transformation is required to meet the challenges we face to be successful on and off the pitch. We believe greater efficiency can lead to better outcomes.

"The cost review has identified 'non-essential' activities we can stop, and we therefore believe we have more people than we need to deliver future club priorities."

  • Sancho relationship

Jamie O'Hara believes Jadon Sancho and Erik Ten Hag's relationship can't be fixed.

TalkSPORT host O'Hara told Grosvenor Sport: "I think Jadon Sancho will leave Manchester United. I can’t see that situation being resolved between him and Erik ten Hag, they don’t have any respect for each other anymore.

"The amount of money they spent on him, it’s been an absolute disaster for them. The way it goes now with financial regulations, if you spend the amount of money they did on Sancho, it simply has to work.

"That type of money wasted on one transfer can absolutely ruin a club and United cannot afford to make those mistakes again."

  • Kadioglu blow

Arsenal and Man Utd have reportedly been eyeing up a move for Ferdi Kadioglu.

However, Brighton have reportedly stole a march on their rivals with a £25million bid.

The Seagulls' offer, though, is £5million below his club Fenerbahce's valuation of the player.

Boss Jose Mourinho is said to want to keep Kadioglu.

  • Lindelof back

Victor Lindelof is reportedly in contention to face Real Betis.

The Sweden defender missed the last two pre-season friendlies against Arsenal and Rangers with a small injury.

Lindelof is in the final year of his deal.

  • Sancho 'agreement'

PSG has reportedly found an 'agreement' in principle for Jadon Sancho.

  • Varane confirmed

Man Utd have sold Raphael Varane, which has now been confirmed by Como.

The ltalian side shared a photo of the French star - revealing he was signed as a free agent.

Varane struggled with injury at Old Trafford and couldn't find his best form.

He will play under Cesc Fabregas at the Italian side.

  • Amrabat future

Man Utd could loan Sofyan Amrabat again this season, according to reports.

However, Corriere dello Sport, via Sport Witness, claim that there would have to be an obligation to buy in the deal.

The fee would be somewhere in the region of £10million, not the £17.5 million the Red Devils have been previously quoted.

Amrabat, for his part, is keen on an Old Trafford return.

  • Hancko blow

Man Utd have reportedly suffered a blow in their chase for David Hancko.

It is believed Atletico Madrid have jumped ahead of the queue, after having a £25million offer accepted by his club Feyenoord.

Marca adds the player is pushing for a move to Spanish side.

  • De Gea move off

David De Gea's move to Genoa appears to be off.

The Italians are now considering alternatives.

  • Verbal agreement made

Man Utd have reached a verbal agreement with Noussair Mazraoui, according to reports.

Foot Mercato claim that the Bayern Munich right back has agreed to a switch to the Red Devils.

Mazraoui move to West Ham fell through last week.

  • West Ham targeting Wan-Bissaka

West Ham are keeping tabs on Manchester United ace Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

According to Sky Sports, the Hammers have entered transfer talks with Wan-Bissaka.

This comes after the East Londoners fell behind on the pursuit of Bayern Munich right-back Noussair Mazraoui, who could go to United.

The England international is thought to be valued in excess of £15million.

The Red Devils will need to sell the 26-year-old, whose contract runs out in 2025, before they can make a move for Mazraoui.

United sporting director Dan Ashworth is poised to appoint Appleton to the transfer team with responsibility for loans.

Ex-Tranmere physio and manager Les Parry holds the position but he is set to be replaced.

Appleton has worked with Ashworth at West Brom and is among his proteges.

  • Jonny Evans on redundancies

Jonny Evans has spoken out about the redundancies hitting Manchester United which will see 250 people lose their jobs.

Veteran defender Evans, 36, says the news has hit everyone hard at the club as new part owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe continues with his sweeping changes.

That has so far included trimming down staff, with many told just a week before the US tour that they would not be going and were at risk.

I think they've got an idea of how they want the structure, but as someone who's been at the club a long time, you know, a lot of people have lost their jobs this last couple of weeks, it's been hard and difficult to see.

The new owners feel that’s the direction that they want to go. But, you know, it's not been easy for everyone at the same time.

I mean, there's people you’ve known for 20 years and I think the timing of it happened when we came away on tour pretty much. So we were all a bit in the dark and I'm sure everything will be sorted out, things will be a bit more clear when we get back.

But it's been a difficult thing to see, people, I've known for a long, long time. One thing about working in a club like Man United, you're all in and everyone's always been all in, it's a big massive staff.

  • De Gea’s next club?

Manchester United legend David de Gea is in talks with Genoa during the summer transfer window.

Dea Gea has been a free agent for over a year and was linked with various Premier League clubs, such as Newcastle and Nottingham Forest.

Now this fresh report has claimed that the 33-year-old is in talks to join the Serie A club on a free transfer.

The centre-back agreed personal terms with United and was offered a contract worth £160,000-a-week.

According to The Mail, the England international won’t pen fresh terms at Goodison Park unless the Merseysiders can match the Red Devils’ proposal.

Monaco ace Youssouf Fofana has also been tipped as a potential alternative to play at defensive midfield.

Hjulmand, who replaced Ugarte at Sporting last summer, has a release clause worth about £67million.

  • Ten Hag on Hojlund

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag said it will take some time to find out the full extent of Rasmus Hojlund and Leny Yoro's injuries.

Of course it is too soon and we have to wait over 24 hours, then we will hopefully know more.

We were careful especially with Leny as he only did 50 per cent of the sessions.

But let's be positive and see what comes out.
