Meghan Markle will sell dog shampoo, chicken feed & makeup at American Riviera Orchard as new ‘Shop Sussex’ revealed
MEGHAN Markle is looking to rake in a fortune flogging dog shampoo, chicken feed and cosmetic products, documents have revealed.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, has also just lodged papers to trademark the initials of her new business - American Riviera Orchard.
A list of items in a trademark application extension include "Fragrance sachets; Lavender Sachets; Non-medicated skin care preparations; Bath and shower gels and salts…non-mediated hair preparations; Bath soap; Bar soap: Non-medicated hand soaps: Body creams: Bath oil: Body lotions: Cosmetics [and] Body Oil."
Meghan also reportedly intends to pocket the sales of scented oils, air fragrance reed diffusers, fragrances, room fragrances, incense and non-medicated veterinary grooming preparations such as pet shampoo and conditioners.
Papers lodged last week at the US Patent and Trademark Office also revealed an application to trademark the firm’s flowery logo.
The emblem for AMO is written in fine gold script above the word Montecito - a celebrity enclave near Santa Barbara in California where the Duke and Duchess live.

The application is being pored over by attorneys at the US government department to make sure it doesn’t clash with any trademarks which have already been granted.
The duchess announced the launch of the lifestyle brand this month with a vintage-style video of Meghan cooking and arranging white hydrangeas and roses was posted to the new American Riviera Orchard Instagram account on Thursday.
And now industry insiders have told Page Six that the site will focus on home, food, garden and lifestyle goods.
The source said: "She’s been working on this for over a year and it’s all the things that are close to her heart — all the things she’s passionate about."
The account's biography says the brand is "by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex" and visitors are linked to a website where they can join a mailing list.
Meghan also plans to flog yoga and meditation mats, note cards, letter openers and stationary sets as she embarks on the new venture.
A source told the Mail: "It’s a lifestyle and cooking brand called American Riviera Orchard.
"The brand is meant to coincide with the launch of a new cookery show for Netflix.
"Meghan will be making, and selling, products such as jams. And at some point there will be a book and blog etc."

The Sussex's respond to Kate's diagnosis
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have wished Princess Kate "health and healing" after her shock cancer diagnosis.
But an insider claimed the couple "had no idea" Kate, 42, was undergoing treatment for cancer until she shared a brave video message on Friday evening.
Kate said the diagnosis had come as a "huge shock" - but vowed: "I am well and getting stronger every day".
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a short statement following the announcement.
The pair said: "We wish health and healing for Kate and the family and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace."
It is understood the couple reached out to Kate and William after news broke of the mum-of-three's diagnosis.
Kate informed the world about her shock diagnosis in a poignant video released at 6pm on Friday.
A source claims Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, did not find out about Kate's diagnosis until this time.
The insider told the New York Post: "They had no idea, and only learned of the news around the same time the rest of the world found out."
On Friday, sitting in front of a field of daffodils, the princess shared she had cancer.
The 42-year-old said she had waited to break the news at a time best for her children Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.

Kate bravely said: "Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too.
"As is the love, support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you. It means so much to us both."
Harry and Meghan's business flops
- Meghan had her upcoming animated series Pearl chucked out by Netflix while in the development stage.
- Then 42-year-old was said to have been "uncharacteristically quiet", following the loss of her £18million Spotify deal in June last year.
- While Spare initially sold a staggering number of copies demand soon dwindled and a year on its popularity has plummeted with major retailers slashing prices in half.
- Meanwhile, their Netflix documentary also took a hit and the duke and duchess are believed to have been paid only half of their reported £78million contract.
- The pair were poked fun at by comedian Jo Koy at the Golden Globes for "being paid millions by Netflix for doing nothing".
- Harry’s series, Heart of Invictus, shedding light on the Olympic-style games he started for wounded ex-service competitors also flopped.
- Archewell figures in December last year revealed a hole in the accounts after it received almost £9million less in donations than in a previous year.
