‘What a nasty trick’ shoppers blast as woman shows off sexy dress she bought online and the monstrosity that turned up
WE’VE all fallen victim to clothing catfishing at one point; the horror of opening a parcel to find what you ordered is very different to what you received.
But Rita Varga’s fashion fail takes the cake after she ordered a mini dress draped in gold chains… and received a fraying piece of polyester.
The shopping blunder was so horrific, people have called it “a horrible, nasty trick”.
Rita purchased a chainmail dress from e-retailer Voyiko, hoping to receive a collection of metal strings to drape around her body.
Instead, she was sent a beige dress, likely made from polyester, with cartoon chains printed on it.
She shared the fashion fail on Facebook and received an influx of shocked responses.

“Oh my god, that is the funniest and worst thing I've ever seen,” Sandra Pyke gasped.
Suzanne Gearing said that the design is “not even close” to what was advertised on the website, while another woman called it a “horrible, nasty trick”.
“It's a sign that no-one should be wearing that dress,” Corie Ann added.
And it’s not just Rita who has fallen victim to Voyiko’s falsely advertised chain dress - Jo Donyinah did too.
“These people planned an assassination on my life,” the scorned shopper fumed.
“I ordered a chain dress and it was the most dreadful, disgusting, disappointing thing I have ever seen in my life.
“The material was so cheap.
“The button itself was holding on to one thread like it was on life support.”
Voyiko’s Trustpilot page has a whopping 28 one-star reviews - and it is yet to receive any praise.
Petra Loosova was similarly stung by its dodgy ways when she ordered a sequin dress but received something “worth 10p”.
“I got a dreadful ugly large dress worth like 10p,” she explained. “They took a photo of the style of the dress and then printed it on a really bad material.
“My question to Voyiko is, why do this?
“Not everyone can afford the original so to go and give people hope they can find it elsewhere cheaper is not very nice.”

When ordering clothes online, it’s a good idea to check a brand’s Trustpilot reviews before handing over any cash.
And if a price seems too good to be true, it probably is.
