The Pinstripe Trousers are super flattering and versatile, perfect for the office, everyday casual look, as well as more formal occasions - even a wedding in the full three-piece suit.

The uber chic trousers are made from a polyester, viscose and elastane blend, which means they have added stretch to snug your waist in, yet still, fall like a relaxed straight-leg trouser.

They are a high-waisted design, which we love, and feature belt loop detail around the waist so you can accessorise with a belt, and side pockets too - and they are super flattering too.

The trousers have been described as mocha on the M&S website, though shoppers have noted they verge more on a khaki green hue with contrast cream vertical pinstripes running down the length of the trousers.

The Pinstripe Pleat Front Wide Leg Trousers come in three sizes, petite, regular and long, ranging in dress sizes 6 to 22 to suit all body shapes, sizes and styles.

The flattering front pleat helps to create a streamlined, and flattering look which makes your limbs look leaner and gives a smarter look than wide-leg leg jeans.

We think they would look great with a white vest of t-shirt, as well s styled with a chunky knit and trainers in the colder months.

But for a super smart vibe, why not complete the look with the matching waistcoat and blazer.

Marks & Spencer launched the Pinstripe Pleat Front Wide Leg Trousers after the success of the navy pair, and the new colourway has been a huge hit with shoppers, which they have insisted is more versatile than they first thought.

One review read: "They fit me perfectly. The fabric looks to be good quality, the cut is fantastic and I'm loving the pinstripe. I would say they could be mistaken for a COS or Me+Em look as they're that good."

A second gushed: "I had wanted the navy but they were sold out so went with the mocha pin stripe, which actually work well with white, cream, camel, black or navy tops so I have found them more versatile than expected.

"Well cut, hang nicely and true to size. (12). Fit well on the waist and drop well to a good length on me (5’8). Very happy with these and now looking for the navy again!"

A third praised: "I absolutely love these trousers! I tried to unsuccessfully buy the navy pinstripe trousers in the same style but my size was never in stock! I have waited patiently for these beautiful mocha (more of a green shade) trousers to be available in my size."

However, it's worth noting that some shoppers noted they had to opt for a larger size to fit their body shape, as the straight fit makes it hard for some body types to have a fitted waist and loose legs.

A separate shopper shared: "Lovely material and style. My only issue is that I had to take a pair loose in the hips for the waist to fit, which detracts from the good fit around the hips and legs."

Another echoed: "I have narrow hips and a chunky waist. These are really flattering and give the illusion of a waist and hips which is really flattering. However, I did have to size up from my usual 14 to a 16 but glad I tried these on in store first to find this out."
