And if you drop your toddler off to nursery wearing dungarees, then you may just want to listen up!

In the clip shared to TikTok (@isla_s), she begins: "Things I hate being a nursery practitioner.

First up, Isla shares a snap of a bottle of Calpol and explains how it really frustrates her when mums and dads bring in their child "when they are poorly."

Another common mistake she notes that parents make is putting pull ups on babies.

And we all know that getting your kids dressed and out the door in the morning can be quite the task - but according to the nursery worker, there's two wardrobe items you should avoid.

"Dungarees on babies without poppers and designer clothes that can't get dirty," she says.

And finally, Isla also has her very own bugbears when it comes to a certain type of shoe.

"Converse - high tops are a nightmare to get on," she points out.

The post has since gone viral, racking up over 29k views and several comments online, with many quick to agree with her pet hates.

"And the laces on converse … just no to short always come undone," wrote one.

A second penned: "Pull ups on babies should be illegal stresses me out."

A third commented: "We’ve banned pull ups from our room for this reason."

Meanwhile, a fourth noted: "I hate pull ups on all non potty training children."

And it's not the first time a nursery worker has revealed her dislikes about her job.

An early years practitioner, known online as KitKat, also jumped on the bandwagon and explained that another thing that gets on her nerves is: "Tonnes of unnamed hats, scarves and gloves which always get lost."

Not stopping there, she directed her next criticism at parents who let their kids bring in a toy from home.

"Toys from home which causes arguments between children," she says.

Last but not least, she also notes how she can't stand: "Children who come to nursery with all in one coat which takes 10 years to put on to go to the garden."
