I turned the dead space on our landing into a Stacey Solomon inspired mirror wall for less than £25 – using IKEA buys
A COUPLE have been praised after sharing the clever way they transformed a "boring white wall" on their landing.
Ryan and Georgia are doing their best to inject some more personality into their new build - one makeover at a time.
And in a video on their TikTok page, the pair demonstrated how they'd taken some DIY tips from Stacey Solomon to turn a plain white wall into a mirrored feature one.
In the clip, they were seen marking out a large square with masking tape, before drawing pencil lines inside the square to show where each mirrored tile would go.
Georgia then drew thick lines around each square using black paint.
She didn't have to take much care doing it, either, as the majority of the black would be hidden by the tiles.

Once she'd finished that and the paint had dried, they started putting the mirrored tiles - which they'd purchased from IKEA - in place.
Each one came with adhesive strips, meaning it was quick and easy to secure them into position.
The Blodlonn tiles come in packs of 4 for £5, and Ryan and Georgia used 12 in total for their feature wall - meaning they'd have spent £15 on the tiles.
They also shelled out on masking tape and black paint, with the total coming to £25.
"£25 later, goodbye boring white wall!" the pair captioned their video.
And the comments section was immediately filled with people praising their budget-friendly makeover.
"I like it like that," one wrote.
"All the other ones I've seen got the black border all round too, but doing it like this looks so much better."
"Aww thank you! We wanted it to stand out against the wall still," Georgia replied.
"Gotta be honest at first I was not trusting the process!" another wrote.
"But it looks lovely!"
"I have a wall like this and I've been going mad thinking about what I should do with it," a third commented.

"Guess I'm going to IKEA!"
"It’s a good way to get rid of void space and it’s cheaper than buying a full length mirror!" Georgia pointed out.
But there's one aspect of the new addition that Georgia isn't looking forward to.
