Towie couple Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou shock fans as they secretly get married

TOWIE stars Tommy Mallet an Georgia Kousoulou have secretly married.

The reality TV power couple wanted to end a turbulent year on a high and did so with an intimate ceremony.

Sharing a picture of them in their wedding finery with son Brody, Georgia wrote: "1st December… we done a thing.

"After a challenging year. We decided we wanted to end the year happy, in love & together as husband & wife.

"Wedding part 2 coming soon."

Even though it was a low-key affair, the couple still looked great.

Georgia stunned in a satin mini dress with flowing train and puff shoulders.

While Tommy looked smart in a black suit which he matched with pristine white trainers, a style mirrored by son Brody.

Gentleman Tommy helped his wife, who was holding a bouquet of red roses, down the stairs of the registry office.

Georgia finished her look with red lipstick and an elegant blonde updo.

It's been a year of highs and lows for the popular couple.

In the spring Georgia suffered a devastating miscarriage 12 weeks into her pregnancy.

She said at the time: "12 weeks of feeling every emotion, hoping & praying but in the end , nothing else we could of done."

Then in the summer Brody was struck down with a nasty illness at nursery that left his parents worried.

Self-made millionaire Tommy struck a huge deal with sports brand Reebok and stepped away as the CEO of his footwear brand after turning it into a high street favourite.

Just weeks before the wedding itself, Georgia's beloved nan died leaving her devastated.

Informing her followers, Georgia wrote on social media: “Today we lost our darling yai yai oh how our hearts are broken.

“The most loving beautiful women I have ever known . Her love & warmth we will never forget . I’m so thankful you were ours .

“Thank you for showing us love , strength , you was just beautiful inside & out . Your love was contagious.

“We was all with you while you took your last breaths today , I know you was at peace & I now know your with your love of your life our Pappou who’s been waiting for you.. I know your singing up there . I love you so much my angel.”
