‘Greed is frowned upon’ shoppers rage after woman proudly shelf-sweeps in Asda and leaves no laundry bargains for others
GRABBING a bargain is often the case of being in the right place at the right time...as one savvy shopper found out.
The bargain hunter named Sandra couldn't believe her luck when she popped to her local Asda, and spotted several laundry products slashed to half price.
Making the most of the discounted deals, she loaded her trolley full, before rushing online to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to show off her huge haul.
She posted a photo of 10 bottles of Tropical Liquid laundry gel, four bottles of Tropical Liquid conditioner, 13 bottles of Marine Mist fabric softener, 2 bottles of Golden Orchid conditioner and 2 bottles of Crushed Berry softener - not to mention two boxes of Tropical triple action capsules.
"Thanks to all you posters. Washing stuff will keep me going for a while. Free toothpaste from 2 weeks ago too," she penned.
While Sandra revealed the products had 50% off, another shopper shared the specific reduced prices and wrote: "The fabric softener is 95p, the big bottles of liquid marked at £2.15, pack of 20 pods were £1.63.

"Small bottles of liquid £1.43 and then the bigger pack of pods not sure how many in it maybe 48 were £3.63."
The post quickly racked over 154 likes and 190 comments, with very mixed reviews from social media users.
Some branded the eagle-eyed shopper "greedy" and slammed her for not saving any other bargain buys for others.
"So none left for anyone else," wrote one.
In response to the haters, Sandra hit back: "You can always go out and get some!"
Elsewhere, others were quick to jump to Sandra's defense, with many admitting they would've done the same.
"Why does she need go think of others?? Like why??I would done same!! I don't care who left without none of my business! First come first serve," wrote one.
"Well done you. Right place right time. Ignore the haters. It’s just jealousy!" a second commented.
A third penned: "What the hell is with this 'so you grab everything and none left for anyone else'?!
"Some of you people just can’t be happy for someone else. It is non perishable items that will last her a long time and none will go off.
"Good for you I say. If have money to clear shelf and these things will last you a long while - buy it all."
Meanwhile, a fourth added: "Good on ya gal. I’m still using Wilkos wash liquid I bought for 75p over a year ago lol."
And one more urged: "Good for you, I’d do exactly the same, look after yourself & your family & grab the bargains where you can to save money in the long run."
