‘Magic! Going to try this’ people claim as woman shares 3-step hack that removes mould – including her clever tissue tip
IF you’ve got mould and condensation on your windows and you’ve tried every trick in the book to remove it, you’ve come to the right place.
There’s nothing more annoying than forking out the cash on pricey products, spending ages cleaning, only to wake up the next day with the mould making a return appearance.
But one cleaning fan has shared a simple three-step routine that will get rid of mould from your home in no time.
Sharing her advice on social media, for Samina Iltaf’s mould hack, you’ll need three things - a window vacuum, a bottle of Astonish Mould and Mildew Blaster spray and some loo roll or tissue.
In the clip, which was shared with the caption ‘Even my new windows can catch mould’, she explained how she “removes the build up of mould on my windows”.
Samina shared her simple three-step routine, so if you’re struggling with stubborn mould that just won’t shift, you’ll need to pay attention.

First of all, Samina used a Karcher window vacuum, which she bought from Toolstation, on her windows to remove the condensation.
The condensation was gone in seconds and Samina later described her gadget as “so handy.”
If you fancy getting your hands on this window vacuum, you can buy one for £44.99 from Argos, B&Q, Screwfix and Halfords.
You’ll also find cheaper options available from Amazon and Toolstation, with similar products for just £29.98.
For the second step of this routine, the savvy mum then sprayed the surfaces around her windows with the Astonish Mould and Mildew Blaster spray.
You’ll find this fan favourite spray for just £1.49 from Asda, The Range and Savers.
Following this, Samina then placed toilet paper (which you’ll probably already have in your bathroom already) on the surfaces.
Samina explained that doing so “helps keep the liquid on the window seal.”
This is a great tip!

Moments later, Samina filmed ‘the next morning’ as she then used the tissue that had been left on the surfaces to wipe the area clean.
After a quick wipe, the mould was gone, and Samina’s windows looked as good as new.
