‘I’m impressed’ people say as cleaner shares 50p hack to make stainless steel sparkle in seconds
A PROFESSIONAL cleaner has shared her advice on how to get stainless steel sparkling in seconds.
So if your kitchen is looking a bit grubby, with fingerprints all over your fridge, you’ve come to the right place.
Posting on social media, a cleaning whizz who is known as ‘The Amateur Cleaner’, shared her simple trick that gets stainless steel surfaces clean, without the faff.
As she showed off her grubby fridge, she explained: “There are many ways but this is the cheapest.”
The cleaner then explained that she swears by a product, which you probably already have in your cupboards - and if you don’t, you can buy it from the high-street for as cheap as 50p.
She recommended: “Housekeeping tip! All you need to clean your stainless steel is a scratch free sponge and dish soap.”

We then saw the cleaning whizz use her sponge, which she explained was slightly damp, alongside some washing-up liquid, to clean her fridge.
After just a few seconds of wiping the product on, she then used a microfiber cloth to ensure the surface was dry.
Not only was the dirt, grease and grim gone, but the surface was left sparkling, with barely any effort involved.
Washing-up liquid is an effective product for removing residue left from fingerprints, as well as grease and grime as it works powerfully to cut through even the toughest of stains.
If you use washing-up liquid on surfaces in your home, ensure that it is rinsed off with clean water and dried with a soft, lint free cloth.
If you fancy giving this trick a try, and are running low on washing-up liquid, you can nab a bottle for as cheap as 50p from B&M.
But if you haven’t got a B&M near you, don’t worry - you can also get washing-up liquid for 55p from Morrisons, 62p from Sainsbury’s, 65p from Savers and 69p from The Range, Asda and Tesco.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @theamateurcleaner, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 237,300 views.
