I took my family to a theme park that’s BETTER than Disney – it was a winner, the rides were massive & we barely queued

A MUM who took her tots away for the weekend has claimed to have found a theme park that's even better than Disneyland Paris.

Heidi McDonagh Clee, shared her day at the theme park located in the Netherlands on social media and was thrilled by just how good it was for the whole family.

The mum said: "We wanted to do something a little bit different with the children this Easter, so we brought them to Efteling in Netherlands."

The mum showed off the giant theme park revealing that she had been told it was better than Disneyland Paris.

Heidi added: "We heard that this place had so much more to offer than Disney did, we are die-hard Disney fans, so we thought you know what, let's go and find out."

"This whole park is massive, attention to detail here is second to none."

The park has all sort of different types of roller coasters, carousals, water rides, steam trains, playgrounds, a forest and even a castle.

And that's not, there's even a museum inside, plenty of restaurants, panoramic view points, boat rides and arcades.

"The other thing that blew my mind was all the rides were like about five minute wait time, longest I think was 20 minutes, and it wasn't even 20 minutes," the mum added.

Going on one of the rides, Heidi couldn't believe how big it was, as she added: "It's like the Ratatouille ride in Disneyland but bigger and better."

Online, tickets for a day pass at Efteling start at £32 but can go up depending on the day and kids under three go for free.

And while Heidi was super impressed by the theme park - she also loved the accommodation on offer too.

Instead of opting for a hotel, the family decided to drive out a little further to their holiday houses near the forest.

The family were greeted by people dressed up as elves to tell the kids magical stories about the forest.

The cosy cabin also blew Heidi away which was surrounded by farm yard animals.

The clip posted to her TikTok account @h.mccc where it went viral with over 61k views and 3,200 likes.

"OK it's a winner for me," she captioned the clip.

People were quick to comment on how amazing the getaway looked.

One person wrote: "This is an amazing day!"

Another commented: "That looks very good."

"Best place ever," penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: "Was it expensive?"

"Not once you was there, and you get a lot more for your money," replied Heidi.

"Would love to do this,” claimed a fifth.
