I hit the jackpot rummaging in the bins behind Sephora – I found a £480 Dyson airwrap, £170 moisturiser & Gucci perfume
A BIN diver has revealed how she hit the jackpot when she unearthed over £1,000 worth of beauty products and tools.
Ella Rose, the woman behind the social media accounts Glamour D Dive, makes a living rooting through bins behind shops.
And on a recent ‘dive’ behind a shopping centre, she stumbled upon Sephora’s bins.
Sephora is a multinational chain of beauty stores that offers a wide range of make-up, skincare, perfume, haircare and beauty gadgets.
Founded in France in 1969, it now has a global presence and is famed for stocking every brand from luxury to cheap.
Ella unearthed the Dyson Limited Edition Airwrap Complete Long Multi Hair Styler - worth an eye-watering £479.99.

The blue and orange tool was marked in pen as “empty” on the box but the experienced bin diver noticed it was too heavy to be empty.
The box in fact contained a working Dyson Airwrap with all the tools and accessories.
She shared the details of her successful bin dive on TikTok, revealing she also found the £165 La Mer Crème de la Mer Moisturizing Cream and two bottles of Gucci perfume worth £93 each.
“When I found this bag, I was so scared because security is so strict here - but look at all this perfume and super expensive skincare,” Ella said.
“Everything was in the packaging, these perfumes are full, everything is new.”
She also found a £38 bottle of the viral Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa '40 Perfume Mist and £61 tube of TATCHA The Rice Wash Soft Cream Cleanser.
Bin diving is the practice of searching through commercial or residential waste bins - or “dumpsters” in the US - to find items that are still usable or valuable.
Divers typically hunt for clothing, electronics, beauty products, furniture or other items that can be salvaged, reused or repurposed.
While some individuals do it out of necessity, others do it as a lifestyle choice or as a form of activism against consumerism and waste.
People were quick to dub Ella’s mega-haul “amazing”, telling her she is “so, so lucky”.
“Some of that s**t is so expensive that they don’t even have testers in store,” one claimed.
“I’ve never been more jealous in my life,” another cried.
“How does it feel to live my dream?” a third asked.
