People always ask how I get my ‘butter skin’… they’re stunned when I reveal my secret ingredient – I even sleep in it
A WOMAN has left people stunned after revealing the secret behind her "butter skin".
Kiki has an enviably clear, supple complexion, and regularly gets asked by beauty fans how she maintains such a fresh-faced look.
And in a video on her TiKTok page, Kiki shared her top tip, as she admitted she "actually uses butter".
In fact, she uses butter mixed with paw paw balm.
The clip showed Kiki lathering the mixture onto her face, before grinning at the camera.
And in the caption, she opened up about the benefits of paw paw, including that it has "anti-inflammatory aspects" which helps spots and acne.

It also "deeply cleanses the face to remove clogging on the pores" that would lead to spots.
In addition, it can relieve dry skin, redness and irritation as well as "promoting skin wellness and skin renewal through exfoliation and cell turnover".
Meanwhile, butter contains vitamin E, which helps reduce damage from the sun, as well as providing "rich moisturisation" and helping skin wounds heal.
After mixing the mask together, she applies it to her face around an hour before bed "to let it properly absorb into the skin".
"I then sleep with it on," Kiki said, before adding that you have to be prepared to change your pillowcase because "it can be quite smelly".
She then washes it off in the morning.
And while it "works amazing on oily skin", Kiki acknowledged that it's "not suitable for all skin types".
"Thank me later," she concluded.
"Even better when you used it whipped (you keep whipping/washing with water) and it becomes into this cream consistency and you can use that on babies as well," one person commented on the video.
"You're so gorgeous!" another praised.
But not everyone was convinced by the prospect of using butter on their face, with one writing: "Hmmm I’m pretty sure research shows that using butter as a moisturiser/mask is not recommended as it’s comedogenic."
Comedogenic means a product that blocks the pores and causes blackheads.
