Regardless of the discount, it is still a large sum to pay for one armchair, so luckily for shoppers, we've found a great lookalike at Homebase which is considerably less.
- Lars Chunky Arm Tub Chair in Boucle, £225 from Homebase - buy here
Homebase's boucle armchair is a contemporary design, and a unique spin on the classic armchairs many know and love.
It is a chunky square design but with curved armrests and edges to achieve a softer interior.
The Lars tub chair has a deep seat to snuggle up in to read a book, while the super soft boucle fabric provides extra warmth and comfort and measures 70cm in height, 88cm in width, and 82cm in depth.
While the price tag is the most glaringly obvious difference, there are a few subtle differences between the Homebase and Soho Home chairs.
- Rolland Armchair, £636 (Was £1,696) from Soho Home - buy here
Soho Home's Rolland Armchair is more curved, and resembles a C-shape rather than the square design of the Homebase model, though the latter makes for more space when sitting or snuggling up on the chair.
The Rolland armchair has been created using soft Italian boucle fabric, with a raked back and sprung seat for extra comfort, and a swivel base.
But with hundreds of pounds difference in price, we know which one we'll be snapping up.
This isn't the only designer lookalike we've spotted at Homebase.
Homebase's Clik Clak Kelly Sofa Bed, which is perfect for any spare room or lounge is a multifunctional home must-have for just £250.
The Clik Clak Kelly Sofa Bed comes in four colours to suit any interior style and is a fraction of the price of Futon's Soho Three Seater Sofa Bed, which retails for £699.
Looking for lighting? Homebase's £80 Windermere Floor Lamp is a more purse-friendly alternative to Barker and Stonehouse's Brass and Smoked Glass Floor Lamp, which comes with a £195 price tag.
And don't miss the Gracie Rattan Sideboard, which is a 70s-esque chest of drawers, and would make the perfect storage solution for the hallway.
