The serum balm is "made with encapsulated retinol that glides on smoothly to help target the look of fine lines and dark circles around the eyes."

You can purchase the Peace Out Retinol Eye Stick for $28 from Sephora.

Manufacturers recommend applying the skincare product each evening after cleansing.

According to the instructions, you should "gently swipe the balm around your entire eye area."

While the item is designed for use on normal, dry, combination, and oily complexions, it can also be used by those with sensitive skin.

However, you should begin by applying the product to small areas two to three times a week until you get used to retinol.

Sephora also provides a $34 Peace Out Retinol Face Stick to accompany the item.

The eye stick is designed to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles as well as loss of firmness and elasticity, and dark under-eye circles.

It also contains a "potent antioxidant that gently refines the look of texture and pores."

The experts at Cleveland Clinic, broke down the science behind why retinol is an effective anti-aging ingredient.

"Retinol increases skin cell production [which is called] proliferation," they explained.

"Retinol exfoliates your skin and increases collagen production, which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving your skin a fresher, plump appearance."

Sephora shoppers shared their experiences with the product in the site's review section.

"I love this magic little stick, I highly recommend it," wrote one beauty buyer.

"It’s extremely easy to use, I can use it under makeup as well, and it keeps my under-eye area hydrated while keeping my fine lines at bay."
