We bought a £60 singing and dancing 6ft Santa tree with a light up lantern… what turned up was creepy & almost indecent

A MAN has urged people to "be careful what you order online" after the 6ft Santa his wife bought finally arrived.

Paddy explained that his other half had spotted the festive statue on a website, and decided to splash out on the £60 item.

But when the statue finally arrived, it couldn't have been further from what they'd expected to find.

"Just be careful what you order online, okay?" Paddy said in a video on his TikTok page.

"Because my wife ordered a 6 foot tall Christmas tree with a Santa and a base, right?

"It all comes as one. And it was £60."

Paddy added that he'd been "waiting all week on this delivery", and couldn't wait to get it open when it arrived.

"This is what we ordered, right?" he said, once again showing the image from the website.

"So there he is with his 6 foot tree. That's the description of it.

"And there's realistic birds in the tree and the pheasant feathers and his lantern that apparently lights up.

"There's another picture of him as well.

"So yeah, that's what we thought we were getting, and this is what arrived."

Instead, what he found when he opened the box was a "six-inch Gerry Adams having a slice behind a tree".

The figure - which he joked looked like the Irish politician - was wearing a "cheeky off the shoulder" number, and even had a six pack.

"Yeah. Just be careful guys, what you order online," he laughed.

"Online shopping fail," Paddy captioned the video.

"I nearly choked," one person commented on the clip.

As another added: "The way I laughed out loud!"

"OMG I laughed so hard over this," a third admitted.

While someone else said: "Santa's feeling a bit spicy with his shoulder out!"

"Nothing could have prepared me," another laughed.

But others insisted the statue as it arrived would prove a talking point at Christmas.

"Not going to lie, that's better than what you ordered. imagine the talking point over xmas!" one wrote.

"You HAVE to keep it and make it the center piece on your dinner table or somewhere every Christmas," another added.

"Imagine the conversations and laughs!"

"That's worth £60 for the laugh," a third commented.

"No this has to be handed down to your kids and their kids and the story behind it," someone else said.
