Woman found dead in car boot died from strangulation - as CCTV of murder suspect released

A woman whose body was found in the boot of a car last week died from strangulation, according to a post-mortem examination.

A manhunt is under way for Harshita Brella's husband, Pankaj Lamba, who police believe has left the country.

Officers today released details of his car - a silver Vauxhall Corsa.

Ms Brella's body was discovered in east London on Thursday, nearly 100 miles from her home in Corby, Northamptonshire.

It's understood the 24-year-old had been under the protection of a court order designed for victims of domestic abuse.

Police have said they believe her husband, who's aged 23, murdered her in Northamptonshire earlier this month.
