A TRENDSETTER has been left red-faced after suffering an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction at work.
She had been feeling confident as she stepped out in a figure-hugging jumpsuit teamed with a stylish oversized shirt for her day in the office.
However, she was forced to issue an apology to her co-workers when her choice of outfit led to an unexpected blunder.
Eleanor Smith (@sleevingmytroublesbheind) has garnered over 12,000 followers on TikTok, where she documents her weight loss since undergoing surgery.
The 27-year-old, who lives in England, took to the social media platform to share a major fashion failure.
“So today I wore a new jumpsuit to work with an oversized shirt,” read the text over the video.
“I was really vibing as it was a size 16 [US12] - another dress size dropped!”
“Feeling myself,” Eleanor confessed as she posed from different angles without the shirt.
The smile suddenly vanished from her face as she saw how see-through the jumpsuit looked in the sunlight.
“Oh no,” the text continued. “I’m sorry colleagues.”
Eleanor quickly covered herself with her oversized shirt and was visibly embarrassed when she realized her underwear and body were exposed through the sheer fabric.
She revealed in the caption of her video that the jumpsuit was bought from online fashion retailer Boohoo as she included the brand in her hashtags.
“I would like to make a formal apology to anyone who saw more than they bargained for today,” she added.
Over 3,200 people watched the video and it racked up hundreds of likes from those who were amused by the mishap.
Many viewers took to the comment section reassuring Eleanor that she looked good, with one among the lot claiming that she shouldn’t apologize.
“Amazing! You are rocking it!” another person wrote. “You’re doing great girl,” a third chimed in.
The fashion failure came after another TikToker desperately panicked to resolve her wardrobe woe at work.
Tarisai Ejeta (@tarisaix) vowed to never buy clothes from Shein again after tearing a giant hole in her black pants.
She had been walking through a crowded area of London unaware that her bum was exposed to everyone around her.
“Someone had to come up to me and say ‘Girl, your a** is out’ and thank God for her because if she didn’t tell me I would’ve pulled up to the office like this,” she said.

Luckily, Tarisai found a shop selling a similar pair of pants in her size and was able to get changed before her busy day of meetings.
“I threw those Shein trousers in the bin,” she said. “I never want to see them again, bye, bye, like go.”
