I’m A Celeb winner Sam Thompson and Peter Wicks land huge new TV gig replacing Roman Kemp
I'M A Celeb winner Sam Thompson and Peter Wicks say they are "thrilled" after landing a huge new TV gig, which sees them replace Roman Kemp.
The pair - who already have a podcast together - have been riding high since Sam was crowned King of the Jungle last month.
Sam and Pete have been enjoying a bromance since meeting on Celebs Go Dating back in 2019.
Now, after winning over an army of fans, they have lined up their next project.
The pair of them will host all the official National Television Awards content for its social channels, which includes being on the red carpet.
The good pals take over from the likes of Roman Kemp, Greg James, and Sam's pal Georgia Toffolo.

Speaking about landing the gig, Sam said: “It's an absolute honour to have been asked to be the official Red Carpet hosts for the NTAs and there's no one I'd rather do it with than my best friend Pete.
"I'll definitely be grabbing Ant & Dec for a chat!”
While, Pete added: “From fighting our way into boxes full of celebs at the NTAs for the past decade, to being the official Red Carpet hosts - things are looking up!
"But on a serious note we're thrilled to have been asked and know it's going to be a great night.”
Meanwhile, last month Pete revealed he had a "near-death experience" with I’m A Celeb winner Sam after he was crowned King of the Jungle.
The reality TV star opened up about the terrifying but hilarious moment with his best pal.
Speaking on the pair's podcast, Staying Relevant, Pete revealed that he and Sam nearly fell of the famous I'm A Celebrity bridge.
Pete fondly reminisced about the hilarious moment when Sam was crowned King of the Jungle, and how the two playfully engaged in some "dry humping" on the bridge.
But things took a dangerous turn for the pair, with Pete describing the experience as a close call with death.
Pete began: "The producer told Sam not to jump, because this bridge is not stable, it's high up and it's very rickety, so I said' look I'm not going to jump, I was never going to jump, do I look like the sort of person that jumps."
He added: "She said he's promised me he's not going to jump, then Sam jumps. We then get a little bit carried away, but I'm then supporting both our body weight's on this bridge."
The former Towie star revealed that he lost his balance and came close to toppling over the bridge with Sam.

Pete said: "But at that point where he's still dry humping me, I lost my balance, I had to grab the f*****g bridge to stop us going over. I nearly died. The worst thing about that, is if I had died, they would've found me at the bottom with my face looking like Jackie Stallone."
He concluded by explaining how the whole day was the 'best day' of Sam's life and a highlight in his TV career, but for him, it was a 'f*****g disaster'.
