I cleared the shelves in Asda when I saw Puds in the sale people were fuming but they were 50p each so I couldn’t resist
WHEN you stumble upon a bargain, it can be hard to resist stocking up to make the most of it.
One woman shared how she found discounted Puds in Asda that had been reduced to 50p, but received backlash when she piled her trolley high with them.
She showed her kitchen counter covered in 18 packs of Cadbury chocolate treats, which had five balls to a box.
Typically the milk chocolate Puds - which have a truffle centre filled with hazelnut pieces and rice crisps - cost £2, and people were snapping them up for stocking fillers.
While she was delighted with her super savings, not everyone was a fan.
Taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she wrote: “Down to 50p a box dated until end of march 2024 from Asda.

“Don't know why so many angry faces, these will split between my kids and grandchildren.
“Yes I cleared the shelf as these are my favourite Christmas chocolate plus there was another 8 boxes but I gave them to my daughter.”
After sharing her post, many people were quick to defend her purse-friendly find.
One person wrote: “we need to go to asda.”
Another added: “Omg! My favourite thing!”
And a third commented: “Literally cant face anymore chocolate had too much at Christmas! Great bargain tho.”
However, one person criticised her for taking too many boxes, saying: “Thanks for emptying the shelf, kids are crying.”
Asda customers have also been sent into a frenzy after the supermarket slashed the price of another popular chocolate selection to just 50p.
According to one fan of the store, mum Paris Jade Laneesha Denwood, ASDA were now offering a box of different white chocolate for under a quid - and it comes with all the foodie favourites.
The White Festive Selection, she shared in a snap posted on Facebook, includes Milky Bar, Kit Kat Chunky x2, Smarties, as well as Lion, and usually retails for £2.50.
Paris, who had bagged four of these boxes, added that the price had been slashed to a mere 50p - and she noted that even in the shop ''people were scrambling over them''.
'There was lots left, people were taking by the cases,'' added the shopper.
Whether you want to treat yourself or a loved one to a post-Christmas pressie, we advise you to best plan a trip to your local ASDA soon to avoid any disappointment.
