ASDA shoppers go wild after spotting a festive chocolate selection going for 50p – and it comes with all the favourites
ASDA customers have been sent into a frenzy after the supermarket slashed the price of a popular chocolate selection to just 50p.
Although by now there's probably a river of chocolate running through our veins, there's really no such thing as having too much chocolate, right?
Well, if your secret stash is running low, then best get racing to the nearest ASDA branch after the supermarket delighted customers with a pretty sweet deal.
According to one fan of the store, mum Paris Jade Laneesha Denwood, ASDA were now offering a box of different white chocolate for under a quid - and it comes with all the foodie favourites.
The White Festive Selection, she shared in a snap posted on Facebook, includes Milky Bar, Kit Kat Chunky x2, Smarties, as well as Lion, and usually retails for £2.50.
Paris, who had bagged four of these boxes, added that the price had been slashed to a mere 50p - and she noted that even in the shop ''people were scrambling over them''.

''There was lots left, people were taking by the cases,'' added the shopper.

Paris' post, which has been shared on the popular Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, has racked up over a whopping 760 likes in less than 24 hours, with dozens tagging their friends and family to inform them about the delightful news.

Another chimed in: ''We have way too much chocolate from Christmas but a great price.''
A fellow customer wrote: ''Asda Worksop had loads, I got 13.''

Need more convincing to race to the popular retailer? According to bargain hunters, ASDA also have amazing offers going on in their fashion aisle, with a chic trench coat going for just £5.
Posting in the Yellow Sticker Society Facebook Group, Joanna Arif shared her “really lovely bargain”.
The coat was seen amongst a number of others on the rail and the price tag showed ‘Now £5’ instead of the original £40.
Her post gained hundreds of comments with a fellow style lover writing: “OMG I want one.”
Kerrie Byers chimed in: “Absolutely gorgeous”, whilst Noor Chaudhry said: “I need one of these.”
The stunning coat is the Cream Belted Trench Coat that retails for £40.
Online, however, it's been slashed to £20, with limited sizes available.
The product description reads: “Made from 100 per cent polyester, it can be machine washed.”
It has a “collared neckline, long sleeves and button fasten cuffs”.
