The Traitors series two reveals first look at new contestants in nail-biting trailer days before launch
THE Traitors has revealed a first look at the new contestants taking part in a series two in a new epic trailer just days before it airs.
The nail-biting psychological reality competition hosted by Claudia Winkleman is returning to screens.
The show sees 22 strangers play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust in the hope of winning up to £120,000.
Hidden amongst them are The Traitors whose job is to secretly murder a player every night, without getting caught.
It’s up to the others, the Faithfuls, to try to detect who the traitors are, and banish them from the game, before they become their next victim.
Season one of the popular BBC show wowed viewers, as Aaron Evans, Meryl Williams, and Hannah Byczkowski triumphed over the ultimate final Traitor, Wilfred Webster, and walked away with the cash prize.

And now fans can look forward to season two - as it airs in just a few days.
The new series will land on BBC One, on Wednesday, January 3.
We get our first look at the new Traitors in a new tense trailer.
Claudia begins by giving a warning: "Welcome to the game."
She continues in the clip: "Play it nice, you could end up six feet under. Play it dirty, and you might come out on top."
The contestants are all sitting at the roundtable, completely stunned and pointing fingers, accusing each other of betrayal.
One player says: "The Traitors are probably sat there, laughing to themselves."
One person is seen being comforted, head in hands, while another shouts across the room: "You're a Traitor!"
It won't be long until we find out who exactly the Traitors are.
It comes after host, Claudia revealed a HUGE change to the Traitors castle ahead of the new season.
