Love Island’s strict alcohol rule confirmed after ‘wasted’ star sparks rumours they’ve ditched ‘ban’

LOVE Island's Messy Mitch has dampened fans' spirits by stamping out rumours stars get "wasted" in the villa.

Georgia Harrison was accused of being drunk by viewers last week after she broke down over Casey O'Gormon and had a row with Kaz Kamwi.

It led some to wonder whether the show's strict alcohol rule had been updated.

Islanders are allowed to have one to two drinks per evening in a bid to keep drunkenness under control.

But those watching All Stars think the famous faces have been downing more after a series of confrontations, tears and snogs.

"We're not getting more alcohol, no chance," Mitch told The Sun.

"We're still stuck to our one to two drinks a night."

Producers are keen to monitor Islanders' alcohol intake as part of their welfare.

One user wrote: "Georgia H seemed a little drunk during that never have I ever game, is it just me?"

Another wrote: "Georgia H is deffo drunk."

A third penned: "Why is Georgia H sounding like she is drunk or high, so comical."

A fourth added: "We should've known from the gold cups that they were letting them get drunk this season."

Mitch left the villa with Liberty after they were voted the public's least favourite couple.

He told how he struggled to trust anyone in the villa because of a lack of 'bro code' in All Stars.

Reflecting on the biggest difference between his first and second time in the villa, Mitch added: "All Stars was completely different in every single way. There was a lot more drama.

"I got on a lot with the boys, but I don't think there's any 'bro code' at all in there, in any respect.

"In my series, obviously I did 'Messy Mitch' and stuff like that, but the boys forgave me because it was unintentional.

"I didn't enjoy the environment I was in because I didn't feel like I could trust anyone.

"Other than that, I enjoyed my experience and I'm so grateful they gave me the opportunity, but I didn't know who I could even talk to about my feelings without it getting back to like Lib or anyone like that.
