I’m a member of the itty bitty committee, I want to wear my bralette out even if it would give my grandma a heart attack
WHEN you have the right outfit on, it's easy to feel unstoppable.
One woman said she gained the courage to join the "underwear as outerwear" trend when she found the right bralette.
Jasmine (@jasmaag19) shared the video with her TikTok followers.
The 22-year-old explained that she had always been envious of those who made the trend look fashionable and easy, especially as someone in the itty bitty committee.
"You know those girls that wear basically bralettes as tops? I've never been one of those girls but I live in South Carolina, I've always wanted to be one of those girls," she said.
"I never thought I could qualify to be one of those girls until I found this bralette — tell me why this is the cutest thing I've ever put on my body."
The blonde backed away from the camera to show off the flattering and lifting bralette that inspired confidence in her.
"I'm a proud member of the itty bitty t*tty committee and this bralette makes me feel like... it makes the girls look good and I have never been one to wear stuff like this," she said.
"Catch me watching around Charleston like this now, like all the other cool girls, I feel like I belong now."
Reflecting on how big of a change the garment has made in her outlook, she shared how she thought her family back in Ohio might react to her new top.
"I think I would give my grandma a heart attack if she was still alive, god bless her soul. My brother would take one look at me and be like 'Go the f**k back inside,'" she said.
Jasmine, despite what she thought her family might say, still wanted to wear the bralette out.
"I would wear this probably to go out, honestly," she said.
People were glad to see her newfound confidence, "Pulling it off, so cute!" said one commenter.
Others agreed that you should wear what makes you happy, no matter where you live.
"I’m trying to find cute bras for Christmas and the Ohio comment got me, I live in Ohio and wear bras in public," said one viewer.
