For the past two years, Carlos Gu has impressed Strictly fans with his routines and rapport with his celebrity partners, Molly Rainford and Angela Scanlon.

But despite making it to the grand final in his first year with EastEnders actress Molly, Carlos has admitted he doesn't yet know if he will be back for a third year.

When asked if he would be returning for the 2024 series, he told The Mirror: "Fingers cross you know. I hope I will."

His celeb partner from the 2023 series, Angela, 39, was more confident, replying: "Yes he will, come on!"

The couple have reunited for the Strictly Come Dancing Tour much to the delight of fans, who enjoyed many of their routines before they were voted out by the judges in week 10.

They had faced Layton Williams and his pro partner Nikita Kuzmin, who went on to make it to the final.

It seems the Strictly Tour has got off to a rowdy start, as The Sun on Sunday reported the stars partied until 3am despite having to be on stage hours later.

EastEnders star Bobby Brazier, 20, and former Corrie actress Ellie Leach, 22, were among those celebrating the live show’s launch in front of an 8,000-strong audience.

Bosses splashed out £3,000 on hiring the entire mezzanine floor at the Malmaison hotel in Birmingham on Friday night following the opener at the city’s Utilita Arena.

The cast were treated to a three-course dinner of steak and sea bass before tucking into a private bar stocked with beer and cocktails — and strutting their stuff to tunes played on a phone.
