People told me to ‘abort’ or ‘put it up for adoption’ when I got pregnant on purpose at 16 but I’ve proved haters wrong
A MUM who deliberately got pregnant at 16 was told to either terminate the pregnancy or put the baby up for adoption by shocked family members.
Jenn explained that she was living in Spain with her boyfriend, and felt like something was "missing" in her life.
So she decided to try and get pregnant, and ended up conceiving at 16.
But her decision didn't go down well with her nearest and dearest, who had some choice words when she announced her happy news.
"I got pregnant at 16," she said in a video on her TikTok page.
"And do you know what, so many people told me - including family - that I was going to fail. Just because I got pregnant at 16.

"Yet here I am, 18 years later. Kid's grown up, not a failure, and I want to talk about it."
Calling her pregnancy a "defining moment" in her life, and "one of the best things I've ever done", Jenn went on to credit her son for turning her "into a woman".
"All of a sudden, life didn't seem too bad any more," she said.
"I had a reason to be alive.
"But when everyone found out I got the usual 'Oh my God, you're pregnant'.
"And while I completely appreciate their concerns, for me it was the being told my life was over just because I was about to have a baby."
She then got a "barrage of unwanted opinions" about what she should do about the pregnancy.
"That included things like termination and adoption - because obviously I was never going to be capable enough to look after a child," she added.
But the comments about her life being "over" just "fuelled" her desire to succeed in life.
"I'm so glad, even back then, that I didn't let anyone influence the decisions that I made," she smiled.
"I really did stick true to my guns and just believed that I could do it. Because after all, why the f**k couldn't I?"
She ended up splitting from her son's father eight months later, admitting he "wasn't ready to be a dad".
And after a difficult time, including struggles with depression and even a breakdown, Jenn succeeded in making it in the world.
She had another baby - two children by the age of 20 - but then went back to college and went on to get a university degree.
" Plenty of people have had kids at 16 and been fine. 2 kids by age of 20 - went back to college, university, got a degree.
"And when I stood there that day and got my degree, I just remember thinking to myself, 'This is the biggest f**k you to everyone who said I couldn't do it'," she grinned.
Now Jenn is happily married, living in Costa Rica with "all my kids around me", and they are all "successful in their own right".
"All from a teenage mum who obviously made a 'silly mistake'," she concluded.
People were quick to praise Jenn in the comments section, with one writing: "Absolutely love this. What a role model and what a message!"
"I got pregnant at 16 and my son was planned," another added.
"18 years later my son is the best thing that's ever happened to me."
"I fell pregnant at 16 and that was the best thing that ever happened to me by far and made me a better person,"a third said.
