The episode should have aired at 7.30pm but won't arrive on BBC One until tomorrow, Wednesday February 7.

However, eager EastEnders fans who can't wait that long have watched it already on iPlayer thanks to the early upload.

But some wished they hadn't after spotting a grim moment during a scene in the chicken shop, McKlunky's.

The scene opened with Denzel Danes heading into the shop to apologise to his friend, Avani Nandra-Hart for hitting her too hard during a sparring session at the Boxing club earlier.

As they chatted, an extra could be seen working with a pair of food tongs in the background.

But as the two characters made amends, the extra could be seen using the tongs to scratch the end of his nose.

While it's highly unlikely they were actually working with real food behind the counter, the thought of it still grossed out the viewers.

Taking to X - formerly Twitter - one wrote: "Did anyone else notice the guy in McKlunkeys wipe his nose with the food/serving tongs. Yuck."

They finished the tweet with a vomiting emoji, while another replied: "LMAOOOO NAH" with a crying with laughter emoji.

Meanwhile, the episode revealed more of Karen Taylor's return in her bid to find out what's happened to son, Keanu.

EastEnders airs brutal alleyway attack on two Walford residents but fans are left with a burning question

Viewers know The Six buried his body under the floor of the burned out cafe on Christmas Day after Linda Carter stabbed him.

Fans are wondering when the body will be discovered - as it's bound to be in soapland - but some believe there could be a further twist ahead.

One wrote online: "I think there's gonna be a huge twist for the anniversary week.

"I think once they dig the cafe floor up Keanu body is going to be missing. I think Nish will have moved it covertly during the renovations and has it hidden elsewhere?

"This would mean he has ultimate control over all of the women."

Another replied: "With Karen around, he certainly has enough pieces of the puzzle to put together."

EastEnders airs on BBC One and is available on BBC iPlayer.
