EastEnders cancelled tonight in BBC schedule shake-up – leaving fans on edge after huge cliffhanger
EASTENDERS has been cancelled tonight in a BBC schedule shake-up - leaving fans on edge after a huge cliffhanger.
The BBC soap usually airs at 7.30pm every Monday to Thursday.
However, tonight's episode has been taken off air because of the FA Cup Fourth Round replay between Plymouth Argyle and Leeds United.
The football coverage will start at 7.30pm immediately after The One Show.
It means EastEnders has been pushed back a day, with the rest of this week's episodes airing at 7.30pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The schedule shake up couldn't have come at a worse for EastEnders viewers, after Lorraine Stanley made her surprise return as Karen Taylor.

Karen had fled the Square with partner Mitch and her younger children before Christmas after taking the fall for her elder son Keanu.
Keanu had faked the kidnap of his son Albie after being at war with on-off partner Sharon, and the couple had borrowed £50k off Phil Mitchell to pay the 'kidnappers'.
After the plot was exposed, Karen said it had been her plan and made off with the money for a new life abroad.
Fans saw Keanu be killed by Linda Carter on Christmas Day, but Karen has no idea what has happened to her son.
Concerned that she hasn't heard from him in weeks, Karen made a shock return to the Square, just as Phil called her "scum".
She raged: "Who you calling scum? He was coming, but he never arrived did he?"
Phil said she had some front to return after stealing his money, but she replied: "What choice do I have? Someone has done something to him, and I can't sit back and just watch any more.
"So I need to know, where is my son?!"
EastEnders airs on BBC One and is available on BBC iPlayer.
