My hair grew 6 inches thanks to a two-ingredient DIY mask – after years of trying everything to get it longer
A HAIR-GROWING goddess has shared her divine DIY tips for achieving extra strong and shiny strands.
It took just two ingredients for her hair to grow six inches.
"DIY hair masks that transformed my hair," said Monique (@moniquemrapier) as she showed off her now ultra-long locks.
The sorceress poured some apple cider vinegar rinse into a jar and stirred before bottling her potion so that she could easily run it over her hair while showering.
Monique, the creator of MMR beauty, explained how her rinse balances scalp pH, makes hair less oily, removes build-up, increases hair shine and fights frizz.
"I used to have to wash my hair every day because it was so oily, but since incorporating apple cider vinegar rinses into my routine, I can now go three to four days without having to wash it," she said.

And she wasn't done just yet.
The hair-growing guru also used rice water to repair cuticle damage, increase volume, and add even more shine.
After years of unsuccessful attempts to lengthen her locks, she finally found the Holy Grail of hair growing.
"My hair was stuck at a certain length - my shoulders - for so long. Using rice water was the only thing that finally got my hair to grow. I saw my hair grow six-plus inches while using this," she exclaimed.
The proof that her DIY potion worked seemed to be in the fact that her hair reached past her booty.
It seemed her fans could also attest to these hair growth goals.
"Literally the best thing that’s come into my hair routine! Cheap too," remarked one grateful follower.
Yet another had a question for the DIYer.
"Can you do like a weekly routine? Like how you cycle through the masks and how often you do each? A weekly hair care routine?" she asked.
"Yes!" she replied.
"I heard the stink stays," said a concerned viewer.
"Not if used correctly!" Monique responded.
According to Healthline, science supports the use of apple cider vinegar as a hair rinse as it has been shown to strengthen hair and improve luster by lowering hair and scalp pH.
