PARENTS are going wild for "bargain" pampers wipes after a giant box scanned at the till for just £8.

The box includes nine packs of 46 wipes which are usually priced at £18 but a special deal meant one mum lucked out.

She shared news of her dirt cheap purchase on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

She posted an image of the wipes and wrote: "Not sure if it’s all Asda’s Reduced from £18 to £8."

The post has racked up more than 40 likes and nearly 50 comments with many praising the mum.

The wipes can be bought in smaller quantities too with Sainsbury's selling 12 packs of 53 wipes for £11.25 and Asda selling nine packs of 46 wipes for £9.

It comes as a money-smart mum revealed how fellow parents can get their hands on all the baby essentials, including nappies, for free.

Thrilled with her find, Sharna Wharton took to social media to alert other shoppers, leaving many totally stunned.

Posting on Loving Your Garden, a public Facebook group with 332,200 members, Sharna shared pictures of her recent purchase - the Garden Bright solar lamp post, an environmentally friendly garden light source.

Alongside the post, Sharna wrote: “£19:99 from Aldi.

“Wasn’t expecting it to be as bright as it is.

“Only downfall is the shade is glass so you must secure it well.

“Mine is screwed to a concrete slab so I can move it around.”

Sharna later shared: “It’s metal with a plastic outer casing, the panels in the lamp are glass and it’s 5ft 5."
