Sharing clips of what her hair used to look like, Monique revealed that her locks were extremely thin, and that she had bald patches around her hair line.

Her hair was also full of split ends, and lacked any volume.

Showing a picture of her younger self, she said that she never thought she would have healthy, silky long hair.

Monique revealed the method she used to dry to improve her hair.

The first thing she did was hair dusting.

Hair dusting refers to removing split ends by snipping the bottom off each strand of damaged hair.

This method can keep your hair looking healthy, while you try to grow it out.

Monique said that another thing she did to improve her hair was weekly hair oil masks.

Hair oil masks help to improve the condition of hair, stop it from breaking and keep it hydrated.

She also said that she began doing daily scalp massages.

Hair Growth - Evergreen

Scalp massaging can promote hair growth and increase hair thickness by stretching the cells of hair follicles.

It is also great for stress reduction and removing dandruff.

Monique added that she also began increasing her protein intake.

Eating lots of protein supports hair growth because hair follicles are mostly made out of protein.

Monique shared clips of how her locks look now, and the transformation is incredible.

Her hair is long, thick and shiny, and looks healthier than ever.

Monique's video has likely left many impressed, as it has racked up over 833,000 views on the video sharing platform.

TikTok users raced to the video's comments section to share their thoughts.

One person said: "I’m currently on a healthy hair journey and this is so inspiring!"

Another person said: "This is so encouraging".

A third person added: "Your hair is gorgeous".

Hair loss in women can occur for many reasons, such as stress, after giving birth or genetics.
