I’m a nursery nurse and here’s what we hate about parents – from clothes that can’t get dirty to bringing kids in sick
A NURSERY nurse has shared the six things parents do that annoy her the most in her job.
"Things I hate as a nursery practitioner", she started on her public TikTok.
The first thing on the woman's list of pet hates is when parents bring their children to nursery wearing pull up nappies.
The nursery teacher described this type of nappy as a "pain" and said they are very time consuming to change.
The second thing on her list is when parents send their kids to nursery with dungarees that don't have any buttons, as she said these are often hard for the children to take off themselves when they need to use the toilet.
Next of the childcare practitioners hit list is High top Converse, as children struggle to lace up their shoes when wearing these instead of the more child friendly Velcro.

The nursery nurse also isn't a fan of parents who say that they don't want their kids' clothes to get dirty whilst they're at nursery.
This is because the children do lots of arts and crafts at nursery, as well as playing outdoors, so it is unlikely that their clothes will stay clean for the whole day.
Sending a child to school when they are really ill, is another thing that she's is not a fan of.
She said it's fine if they just have a cough or a cold, but they shouldn't be at nursery if they are really poorly.
Finally, the woman dislikes parents who do not bring spare clothes for their children to wear, in case they have an accident throughout the day.
TikTok users raced to the videos' comments section to share their thoughts on the nursery worker's pet peeves.
One user said: "My pet hate used to be when parents sent kids who were still learning to use the toilet in skinny jeans.
"The Kids couldn't get them down in time which lead to accidents".
Another user said: "I hate it when parents don't put names on anything and then moan when something gets left behind.
"We can't remember every single item that a child wears each day."
A third user remarked: "I send my poorly child to nursery.
"I can't afford to lose a days pay as I'll still be charged for that day at the nursery."
