I work in a nursery & there’s a type of parent we hate…prepare to be attacked if you let your kid bring toys for a start
A WOMAN who works in a nursery has revealed the type of parent she has begun to dislike.
And it’s all based on the clothes you put your child in - so if your little one goes to nursery, or you’re planning on sending your child to daycare soon, you’ll need to listen up and take notes.
One nursery worker, named Rhona Ferguson, took to social media to reveal the things she hates about working in a nursery.
The young woman, who at the time of posting the clip on social media, was an apprentice at a nursery, jumped on the trend of revealing the things they can’t stand about their job.
While we’ve previously seen some nursery workers share the annoying things that parents say, as well as the two types of parent that daycare employees often see, now, Rhona has revealed the clothes that parents put their children in and the things they let them bring to nursery, that she can’t stand.
So if you let your child take toys from home to nursery, or let your kid wear their favourite Converse, prepare to be attacked.

Posting online, the young woman penned: “Things I’ve come to hate working in a nursery.”
The first thing that Rhona claimed she can’t stand are shoes with laces, for example, Converse.
She claimed that such shoes are a pain because they children “can’t do [them up] themselves.”
Not only this, but Rhona also claimed that she finds it highly irritating when parents send their kids to nursery wearing dungarees.
Similarly to lace-up shoes, Rhona explained: “They can’t undo [them] alone.”
If that wasn’t enough, Rhona also finds it annoying when parents let their children bring toys from home to nursery.
The reason why, Rhona simply claimed: “We have plenty!”
Finally, when it comes to clothing that parents pack in their child’s bag, Rhona explained that it gets on the employees’ nerves when things are ‘unnamed’.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @rhonaferguson22, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 19,400 views.
Other nursery workers took to the comments to share the things that they too can’t stand.
One person said: “Fingered gloves are the bane of my life.”
However, another added: “Toys from home offer a sense of comfort and security for the child!”
In response, someone else replied: “Makes sense but she doesn't say don’t do it she just found it annoying.”
