BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty snaps at co-host Charlie Stayt raging ‘I can’t believe you didn’t remember’

BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty snapped at co-host Charlie Stayt as she called out the presenter live on air.

It came as the BBC One show discussed the fact that two scripts for hit US programme Friends had been found in a bin - and have since sold for £22,000.

It quickly became clear that BBC Breakfast favourite Charlie, 61, wasn't too clued-up on the comedy.

One of the documents that was retrieved for auction captured the series four finale where Ross was set to marry Emily - yet said ex Rachel's name at the ceremony instead.

The clip of the awkward moment played out and Charlie quizzed: "So that's the one where Ross gets the name wrong at the wedding?"

Sounding a little impatient, Naga, 48, replied: "Yes, yes.

"And I can't believe you don't remember it!"

He continued: "You know what for a second I thought I hadn't seen that.

"And now, now it's ringing a bell."

Naga, still shocked at his lack of Friends knowledge, added: "It was like one of the moments, THE moments, it led very torturous few episodes later on," before Charlie quizzed: "The one where - is that what it's called the one where?"

Naga, swirling around in her seat to face the weather screen, snipped: "They are always the one where.

"Yes yes yes, Louise [weather presenter] it finally dropped - he remembered."

Her remark came less than 24 hours after Naga called out her co-star again on the show's iconic red sofa.

The popular presenter also pleaded on her fellow show anchor to "put it away" during a recent episode - as he cheekily flashed his leg.

BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One and iPlayer.
