‘We’re not talking about that!’ snaps Charlie Stayt at Naga Munchetty as BBC Breakfast co-star steps in to break up row
BBC BREAKFAST turned awkward this morning as Charlie Stayt shut Naga Munchetty down live on air - leaving a guest to break up their row.
Both presenters fronted Friday's episode of the flagship programme from the iconic BBC red sofa.
Charlie, 61, and Naga, 48, brought viewers the latest news from across the country.
During the show they covered the topic of IT security and its future with expert Tom Cheesewright.
Tom told the anchors how passwords and other methods of security such as thumbprints need to be made stronger going forward.
Charlie, who appeared interest in the topic, quizzed Tom on whether his phone was secure as he uses his thumbprint to unlock it.

Naga chimed in, telling him: "You use your thumbprint or passkey every time you log onto your phone."
Charlie then swiftly replied: "I don't, no I don't."
Munchetty tried to explain more, telling her co-star: "But it locks, yeah, even if you have to use..."
However, Charlie interrupted her, snapping: "We're not going to talk about that are we?"
"That's not what we're talking about," he added, shutting the conversation down.
IT expert Tom broke the ice by joking at Naga "not to turn Charlie into a target".
Meanwhile, earlier this week BBC Breakfast fans were left gushing as a host finally returned to screens.
Nina Warhurst delighted viewers when she appeared on screen, beaming, after giving birth to her third child last year.
BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One and iPlayer.
