A YOUNG woman with a bizarre mouth piercing has answered some of the most common questions she gets all the time.

TikToker Abby may already have several piercings scattered around her face - but it seems that the one that gets the most attention is the vertical piercing connecting her top lip to the bottom of her pout.

The industrial piercing, which usually connects the upper ear cartilage to the middle section, makes regular appearances on Abby's TikTok page, leaving viewers intrigued.

From whether she is still able to consume food or drink anything, the young fashion fan recently demonstrated how she functions throughout the day.

One of the most asked questions Abby, 19, gets is if the piercing gets in the way of yawning - which didn't seem to be an issue in the now-viral video.

Despite thousands of social media users joking that the ''yawn did not look satisfied'', Abby proved everyone wrong.

Another aspect that seemed to bother fellow TikTokers was whether the young blonde was able to sneeze.

''Okay, it's gross to sneeze with their mouth wide open, so I don't know why that's a question,'' she said before demonstrating sneezing was also not off limits.

''Can I eat with it? Mhm,'' chuckled Abby, as she was munching on an almond she had put in from the left opening of her mouth.

The young woman also used the same technique when drinking - although she had to use the popular Stanley tumbler with a straw, as her mouth wouldn't open enough.

'I would just feel trapped'

Although the clip was posted just one day ago, it's already taken the internet by storm, winning Abby an astronomical 3million views.

It's also amassed more than 331k likes, over 1,500 comments and close to 7,000 shares, with thousands left horrified.

Despite Abby proving she was more than able to go on about her day and complete regular tasks, it's safe to say not everyone will be racing to get a similar piercing.

''idk i would just feel trapped,'' read a comment that's been liked more than 135k times.

Another horrified user exclaimed: ''god this looks like a torture device.''

''That is so dangerous,'' thought someone else, while a fourth demanded Abby to ''eat a sandwich''.

''how do you eat burgers, sandwiches, and how do u put forks and spoons in ur mouth,'' a baffled viewer demanded answers from the 19-year-old.

15,000 piercings - and counting

The most pierced woman has over 15,000 piercings - and she isn't stopping anytime soon.

Elaine Davidson, 60, holds the Guinness World Record for the most piercings.

She had her first skin piercing in 1997 - and today holds onto over 15,000 metallic accessories - estimated to weigh in excess of three kilos.

Davidson revealed that of those, over 3,500 are in her vagina - and she's gunning to hit 20,000 to retain her world record title.

Living in Edinburgh but hailing from from Brazil, the former nurse first broke the record in May 2000, when a Guinness World Records official examined her and found 462 piercings on various parts of her body -including 192 on her facial area alone.

Appearing on ITV's This Morning, she explained that achieving that iconic feat was a lifelong aspiration.

She said: "It started when I was very young  I always wanted to be in the Guinness World record this book for me was my passion, everything, it was my dream. 

"After a long time trying I managed to meet the people from the Guinness World record and they made me part of the family, it was amazing, one of the best things to happen to me."
