Instead, she shows how you can achieve instant glistening results using a bargain buy.

Taking to TikTok (@jottiesjournal), the homeowner posted a rather grim before photo, showing her patio covered in mud and dirt.

After brushing off the sticks and leaves which have gathered over time, she gives the paving slabs a quick blast with the hose.

Next, she grabs a bottle of The Pink Stuff, which can be bought for as little as £1 from the likes of Home Bargains, and works out at about 2p per use.

After squeezing it over the patio floor, she then uses a sponge to rub it into each tile, before finally rinsing the product off.

Jottie then shared the very impressive after photos - and it's little surprise social media users were left stunned by the gleaming transformation.

Alongside the video, she penned: "Pink patio clean. I used the @cleanwithpinkstuff Cream Cleaner to remove rust stains & stubborn dirt from the slabs for a refresh.

"It’s looking lovely now.

"Have you been doing any outdoor cleaning?"

The post has since gone viral, garnering a whopping 308k views and several comments from DIY gurus online.
