But she had found another way to use them that was a total game-changer.

Okay that is a brilliant tip!! The sock monster is rife in our house"

One mum praised

The mum said she gave every single one of her family members one of these because she was sick of trying to work out who socks belonged to.

She added that they all wear black socks so it was easy for the family to just chuck them in to one bag without worrying about colours mixing.

"Pop your socks and your pants in here and zip it up," she instructed her family.

"Then you can just pop it straight in the washing machine and everything stays in."

Gemma warned not to overload the bag as it won't clean the items properly, but once the washing is done you can then place the bag straight into the tumble dryer as well.

After, you can hand the bag back so they can pair their own socks without you doing any of the hard work.

It also means you won't have socks disappearing anymore.

"You will save hours with the laundry," she insisted.

The clip soon went viral over on her TikTok account @the_organised_mum and plenty of parents thanked her for the clever hack.

You can purchase a washing machine bag from Ikea for just £1 each.

One person wrote: "No no noooo, this sounds waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too easy."

Another commented: "Just smiled at the family and said I have some great news. I love this app."

"Okay that is a brilliant tip!! The sock monster is rife in our house," penned a third.
