I won £125k lottery prize before realising my mistake – when I saw the amount on cheque I was lost for words
A 28-year-old won an unbelievable £125,000 in the postcode lottery - but didn't realise a mistake she'd made that affected her total winnings.
Weeks prior, Elise Buswell cancelled one of her tickets after signing up for two by accident - but it unbelievably doubled her winnings as the extra ticket still counted.
The mobile barber believes her dad, who tragically died of cancer last May, is looking out for her after bagging the double win.
The Telford local said: "I joined the Postcode Lottery in December, but I accidentally signed up with two tickets.
"Next day I got two emails saying that I’d signed up twice, but I never got round to cancelling it until a week or two ago.
"The timing’s been right because I’ve still won with two tickets. But I feel like my dad’s always around me, that he’s my guardian angel and he’s the reason that this has happened.

She told of the sad passing of her dad, Welshman Robert Seager.
Elise continued: "He was my best friend and unfortunately at the end of May last year I lost him to cancer.
"He battled it for more than two years, but he lost his fight and left a big hole in my heart.
"I thought it had to be my dad. I was his baby. He was a lot like that when he was alive. He would help me when he could.
"It’s sad that he’s not here to celebrate with me. But I like to think that he’s celebrating with me in spirit."
Elise, along with several neighbours bagged the windfall after the TF1 5GN postcode won the Millionaire Street prize.
People's Postcode Lottery is a subscription that raises money for various charities.
This means that not only do people win big, but good causes receive great funding.
It comes as other winners celebrate Post Code Lottery scoops on streets up and down the country.
Sue Lamb, in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, was "overwhelmed" when she discovered she'd scooped £142,000 just after Christmas - saying "it’s like having my children all over again".
The winning grandparent shared the £1m jackpot with five neighbours.
Another dad on the street scooped a £142,000 lotto jackpot - and spent the money on his daughter.

Elsewhere, another couple who won £60,000 on the People's Postcode Lottery were able to double their winnings.
Susan and Colin Tallon from Warrington, Cheshire, were able to take home twice the £31,250 prize on a massive fluke while in Greater Manchester, more than 1,000 locals bagged themselves £3.2million.
How does the People's Postcode Lottery work?

ACCORDING to the official website, players sign up with their postcode and pay £12 per month.
They are automatically entered into every draw and prizes are announced every day of the month.
Tickets play for prizes every day of the week - from Monday to Sunday, a ticket could win £1,000 each day in the Daily Prize.
Tickets could also win a jackpot of £30,000 in Saturday and Sunday's Street Prize draws.
People's Postcode Lottery also offer a £3 Million Postcode Millions draw each month - and your ticket plays for a share of a £3 Million cash prize fund.
Winners are notified by email, SMS message, mail or phonecall depending on the prize they win.
Jackpot winners are visited by the lottery team in person.
