‘It’s crazy cheap’ savvy shopper says as she shows off HUGE supermarket food haul after ditching pricey Aldi

WITH the cost-of-living crisis affecting everything from electricity to clothes prices, it's little surprise people are searching for ways to cut back on costs.

But, if it's your weekly food bill you're looking to slash in price, then you're in luck...because a savvy shopper has revealed the bargain supermarket that she claims is "crazy cheap."

In the clip posted to TikTok (@sherenelouise), she admits: "I expected this food shop to be about £80 so I was absolutely baffled by how much it actually cost me."

Sherene can then be seen wheeling her trolley around her local store, before revealing all of the items she picked up.

"I got conditioner, banana, grapes, gem lettuce, chestnut mushrooms, fresh parsley, two bags of oranges, apples, baby potatoes, Maris Piper potatoes and double cream," she begins.

"Milk, chocolate mouses, a four pack of toilet roll, ham, garlic bread mince meat, gravy granules, tomato puree and Polish pasta."

Not stopping there, she also grabs tins of sweetcorn, beans, spaghetti and tuna chunks, along with spaghetti, pasta shells, risotto rice, a large pack of eggs, crumpets and bread.

Listing the final items from her food shop, she continues: "White wine for cooking, Cadbury chocolate fingers, Digestives, squash, peach slices, two packets pf nuts, chocolate fudge cake, two ready meals, bleach, six sponges and some Shake n Vac."

The savvy shopper explains: "In my Aldi shop, I usually get a lot less than that and it comes to about £80.

."However. in Tesco, all of that came to about £46."

Sherne captioned the post: "B A F F L E D."

Addressing her social media users, she asks: "What are your thoughts?"

And she wasn't short of answers - with the post racking up over 192k views and several comments.

"i added it up in my head as you went along and said £70," admitted one.

Sherene replied: "Right!! That’s what I was thinking!"

A second penned: "Yes Tesco is giving good value at the moment."

A third noted: "And Tesco is double points atm. I like how it price matches Aldi and you get the coupons lol.

Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "Just been Asda - what would've been £80 at Aldi we got for £54.76."

Another commented: "My thoughts??? My thoughts thoughts thoughts are even screaming HOW THE HECK!!! This is craziness such a good price."

Sherene replied: "Tesco is crazy cheap!!"

A further added: "Not sure but Tesco seems good recently. the same stuff I order every week has gone from £120 to £100."

And one more chimed in: "Wow that’s good!!!"
