Big Brother’s Noky says ‘I thought I was having a heart attack’ as housemates were locked in bedroom
BIG Brother star Noky Simbani has revealed she thought she was having a 'heart attack' in an unaired incident on the show.
The popular reality star emerged in fifth place to cheers on Friday night.
But at one stage her place on the programme looked like it could be in jeopardy due to a medical concern.
Noky exclusively told The Sun: “Well the joke is that I had a heart attack. It was nothing serious, I just had a weird little situation that happened and the medical team took really good care of me. But it was a nice treat for everyone because they got to see the security rushing in. That was like the first face that everyone saw, it was hilarious. It was about halfway through I’d say."
Medics and security dashed in after Noky experienced chest pain, however, it soon became apparent she was experiencing indigestion following overeating in one of the tasks.
When asked what her symptoms were, Noky said: “When you’re in there and you’ve got so much pressure, sometimes you just hold it in and it can kind of come out in weird chest pains.

"But I think with any situation that happens in the house, you’d have those moments when you’d have heightened adrenaline, heightened anxiety, but you’d find ways to release it. It was just a momentary thing and it passed without me having any issues. I felt very looked after and the team were really good to me off the back of it, so it was nothing major.”
Fortunately for everyone involved, Noky was given the all clear to continue.
She said: "It was all taken care of within the house, so there was nothing major. We can all joke about it now, we call it my heart attack but it was nothing major.”
Series runner-up Olivia Young was terrified that her friend was in mortal danger at the time of the incident.
Explaining how she raised the alarm, she added: “I ran to the diary room and said ‘someone come quick, Noky’s dying’. We were thrown out of the bedroom and the security man came running through and I locked eyes with them. You are so used to seeing the people you live with, so to see another human it felt strange.”
