Liverpool 2 Arsenal 2: Gunners come back from two down to salvage crucial point at Anfield after horror week
ARSENAL fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with already-crowned Premier League champions Liverpool at Anfield.
Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz scored twice in 87 seconds before Gabriel Martinelli and Mikel Merino struck in the second half.
Liverpool lacked intensity in the second half, which allowed Arsenal back in.
The Gunners have been dragged into a race for second and the draw put them two points above Newcastle, who beat Chelsea 2-0.
And Trent Alexander-Arnold was loudly booed by Liverpool fans after coming on in the 66th minute.
Merino was sent off after a double booking nine minutes after scoring.
