Towie legend QUITS show after five years and explosive on camera row
TOWIE star Chloe Brockett has QUIT the ITVBe reality show after five years.
The TV star, who first appeared on the series alongside her mother in March 2019, made the shock announcement on Monday.
Chloe, 23, took to social media and told fans that she was moving on from the hit programme.
She shared on Instagram: "I have made the decision to take a step back from Towie, it's been my life since I was 19 and I feel like it's best for me at this point in my life to step away."
She added: "I'm forever grateful to Towie for giving me the platform they have.
"Love you all," followed by a red love heart emoji.

It comes after Chloe was excluded from a trip to Bali after ruffling feathers with co-stars.
Chloe, who was suspended last year after she was violent towards two cast members, is said to not be trusted by ITV bosses.
At the time, a source told The Sun: “Chloe Brockett hasn’t been invited to join the rest of the cast when they film their group trip to Bali to kick off the new series in March.
"Bosses toyed with the idea, as they know she makes good telly, but ultimately they didn’t feel they could trust her not to misbehave and they couldn’t risk anything derailing things while they are filming in an expensive overseas location.
"Chloe’s future on the series is still up in the air after her suspension, and execs still haven’t made the final decision on whether she will return.
"She may well show up later in the series, but she will definitely not be heading to the Indonesian island with her pals.
"Chloe’s gutted, but she’s just hoping she’ll be invited back once filming resumes in Essex.”
The TV star will be making her return to the screen on the next series of MTV's Celebrity Ex On The Beach.
Chloe had been originally brought on board by show bosses to be the ex of controversial Love Island winner Jack Fincham before he was axed from the show as a result of his drug-drive arrest.
Despite this, show chiefs were keen to keep the fiery reality star on the programme and she jetted off to join the rest of the cast during filming last year.
The show will mark the first time that Chloe has appeared on screen following her suspension from the ITV show after an explosive 'glass-throwing' fight.
During an explosive row, Chloe is thought to have launched three glasses at her co-star Roman Hackett.
At the time, a shocked onlooker told The Sun how Chloe exploded with fury at Roman during filming in Brentwood.
Since then, she has faced a lengthy suspension from filming the hit show with her future still yet to be determined.
It wasn't the first time Chloe had been caught up in a row which turned violent.

Last April, when not filming for Towie, Chloe threw an ice bucket at Ella Rae Wise but ended up hitting a woman who was left covered in blood.
Eyewitnesses told how Chloe allegedly threw the Grey Goose cooler at Ella but it missed and hit the bystander.
