I’m a Gypsy Cleaning Queen and swear by a 95p Tesco buy to get algae-covered garden furniture looking new – it’s so easy
A GYPSY girl has revealed how she gets her grubby, algae-covered garden furniture looking sparkling, with barely any faff involved.
So if you want to get your garden table and chairs ready for summer, without needing to break the bank on expensive cleaning products, you’ve come to the right place.
Chantelle Devonshire, 23, from Cambridge, who is also known as the ‘Gypsy Cleaning Queen’ and recently opened up to Fabulous on the discrimination she faces on a daily basis, swore by a cheap buy from Tesco to get rid of algae and moss from her garden furniture.
Posting on social media, Chantelle, who previously revealed to Fabulous that she uses a bottle of bleach every single day, swore by the Citrus Cream Cleaner, which you can nab for just 95p from Tesco.
She said: “Come and clean my garden furniture with me.
“This garden set we’ve had for ages and it’s been left outside, so it’s gone green.

“I use The Pink Stuff and this Tesco [cream cleaner].
“I wipe it over and to be honest it comes off pretty easily with just a bit of water.”
Chantelle then used the Tesco cream cleaner on her grubby garden chairs, as she continued: “The green came off quite easily, I thought it was going to be harder.”
Not only this, but she also used the cheap buy on her outdoor cushions too, as she explained: “As you can see, they’ve been left outside, they’ve been neglected.
“What I’ve done, I’ve washed them down first, put a bit of soap powder on it and put some more of the cream cleaner on it to get the green off.
“It came off quite easily. After that I put them out to dry.”
Not only this, but Chantelle also shared how she gets her fake grass looking fresh for summer.
The cleaning lover beamed: “Afterwards I thought, I’m gonna clean my fake grass, so I put a bit of [Fabulosa multi-purpose antibacterial disinfectant] down, used the hose pipe to give it a better smell.
“I do like to clean that down at least once a week.”
