She told her fans: “I don't have a tumble dryer, and because I live in the UK [and] it rains 364 days out of the year, and nine times out of ten my washing is drying on this tall airer.”
“Before I started using this hack, sometimes it would take close to a week for my washing to dry fully on these airers,” she admitted, adding: “Sometimes they wouldn't even dry and they would start smelling damp [so I would] have to wash it again.”
Desperate to break free from this never ending cycle, Naomi realised that she could use cheap interior dehumidifiers to stop this.
Rather than just scattering them around the room though, the influencer would strategically use them in between the bars of her airer to dry her clothes faster.
She even showed fans how effective this on her airer, saying: “I just pop one on the top, one in the middle and one on the bottom and this is how much water it has absorbed!”
“Literally filled to the brim. I'm going to replace this one today and put in a new one,” gushed the interiors expert.
She added: "I think it's about three or four layers on here and that will be dry in two days max."
In addition to speeding up drying time and stopping mould developing in your home, there was another surprising benefit to using the disposable dehumidifiers.
Instead of just using regular ones, the content creator has managed to sourced a mutlti-pack of four scented ones from B&M for just £3.50.
For those that haven’t done the maths, this means that you could spend as little as 88p per use get your clothes dry and leave your home smelling heavenly.
As the video began to go viral on Tiktok, many viewers were eager to try this tip at home.
One impressed fan even thanked Naomi for sharing this nifty tip, commenting: “Oh wow thanks for sharing this.”
