Missing Kim Wilde, 65, found dead in Norfolk river eight days after she disappeared from her home
POLICE searching for a missing 65-year-old woman have recovered a body from a river.
Kim Wilde disappeared from her home in Norfolk, Thetford, on January 5.
Police said they found a body in the Little Ouse River, near Thetford Power Station, at around 10:30am today.
It was not immediately identified as Ms Wilde but police say her family have been informed.
Norfolk Constabulary said inquiries were ongoing but the death is not believed to be suspicious.
Kim's cousin, Britain's Got Talent star James Samuel, had earlier appealed to the public to help find his cousin.

He wrote: "My cousin Kim Wilde, 65, is currently missing.
"She was last seen leaving her house in Thetford Kimms Belt carrying a white handbag at 4.20pm on Friday.
"Any information please contact the police, message me on Facebook or call any of the family."
