Cleaning fans go mad for ‘life saver’ £2 bathroom buy that banishes stubborn CARPET stains even on cream or grey floors
A WOMAN has shared the £2 bathroom buy that is great for banishing stains on carpets.
So if your little ones have drawn all over your cream or light grey carpet, or you accidentally spilt some fake tan that just won’t budge, fear not, you’ve come to the right place.
Katie Clinker, a mum-of-two under two took to social media to share her hack, leaving many open-mouthed.
The cleaning fan swore by a budget bathroom spray, as she posted her clip with the caption ‘This has been the only thing that's bought up stains from our toddler’.
She then penned: “Mum hack: Flash bathroom [spray] for tough stains on carpets.”
The spray Katie raves about is the Flash Bathroom Cleaning Spray, which you can nab from a variety of high-street chains and supermarkets.

And while it’s intended for use in bathrooms, according to Katie, it’s great on carpets too.
You’ll find it as cheap as £2 from Sainsbury’s and Poundland, and it’s also £2.49 from Tesco and £2.50 from Waitrose.
In the short clip, we saw Katie spray the product, which she described as a ‘life saver’, over her stained grey carpet.
After just a few sprays, she then used a brush to rub the product in.
Before long, the stains had vanished, leaving Katie’s carpet looking brand new in no time.
So if you’ve got a light coloured carpet and have tried everything to get out nasty tea or make-up stains, you’ll need to give this simple trick a try.
Katie later beamed: “I’ve used it on many different carpets and it’s always worked!”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @katie_clinker, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up a whopping 142,100 views and over 1,600 likes.
Social media users were impressed with the hack and took to the comments to express this.
One person said: “Genius!!”
