I’m 60 but everyone’s convinced I’m in my 30s – it’s all thanks to a 10p hack which takes just minutes

A 60-YEAR-OLD has shared how she achieves a complexion so glowy and wrinkle-free that people reckon she's in her 30s.

When it comes to anti-ageing, the first words to spring to mind include Botox and pricey filler injections - both of which can sometimes go awfully wrong, leaving people with a crooked mouth and even a lisp.

But what if you could achieve the same results without spending a fortune and putting your health at risk?

Well, according to one stunner, Karen, 60, it's possible - and there's not a single needle in sight either.

The beauty enthusiast, from Brooklyn, the USA, recently took to TikTok to demonstrate how a 10p hack banishes any fine lines in just minutes.

Instead of heading to the nearest aesthetician, Karen achieves a ''youthful skin'' at the comfort of her home and it's all thanks to a special tape you can get from Amazon.

The process, she revealed in the video, is relatively simple, as you apply the tape directly onto any wrinkles you're trying to minimise.

In Karen's case, she did so right on the so-called 11s between her eyebrows, where she applied three tiny bits of tape, as well as around her forehead for a more lifted effect.

The year-old-stunner, who many thought was in her ''30s'', also applied the skincare essential onto her smile lines around the mouth area and right above her top lip.

Fancy treating yourself to an easy at-home facial? The online retail giant Amazon offers plenty of face tapes - and there's one for every budget.

Shoppers can bag a number of options, with prices starting from as little as £3.99 and customers raving about the anti-ageing product.

It's not just Karen praising the affordable hack - several people raced to comments, saying they 'loved' the tapes.

One beauty fanatic couldn't believe how great the 60-year-old looked, writing: ''But seriously….your skin is perfection!''

In a different video, someone else agreed, commenting: ''I genuinely thought you were late 30s omg, you look incredible!''

A third chimed in: ''Also I was so confused because you look no older than 40!!''

''I honestly thought you were 38/39 as well. You are beautiful, wow! And those eyes,'' another person penned.

However, whilst face-taping may seem like all the rage on TikTok, an expert has also warned to steer clear from this trend, sharing the potential dangers to be aware of.

Chatting to Glamour, board-certified facial plastic surgeon Konstantin Vasyukevich, MD, explained that many of us see face-taping as a ''shortcut to medical anti-ageing techniques''.

“The idea behind this is that the tape will be able to constrict the muscles in your face, similarly to how Botox works. Face tape works temporally to reduce the look of wrinkles by strategically placing tape in specific areas of the face.

''The main aim is to tape the regions of the face that are the most likely to show signs of wrinkles and limit motion, thus preventing wrinkles.

''However, most of the success with face taping on viral videos is credited to impressive lighting and camera angles and isn’t permanent.”

According to the pro, not only does it not work - or at least on a lasting basis - but its effects can also be damaging.

He noted that face-taping can potentially lead to tearing, bleeding, scarring, bruising, making skin susceptible to bacteria infections.
