I’ve never heard anyone talk about my biggest hair game-changer – it got my dry, damaged locks long, shiny and healthy

A WOMAN has transformed her hair by sticking to her ten-step plan.

But she's never heard anyone talk about her biggest hair game-changer.

Isabelle Lux (@isabelle.lux), who has 566,000 followers on TikTok, couldn't be happier.

“These ten hair secrets have gotten my hair so long, shiny, and healthy," she said in her post.

She knows what it is like to have a mane of hair she would rather hide away.

“I have naturally frizzy, dry, damaged hair. It’s also curly and bleached, so trust me, I know what I’m talking about," she wrote.

1. HAIR BRUSHES

She said this was one of the "biggest game-changers and I’ve never heard anyone talk about it."

You need more than one brush, depending on how oily or clean your hair is.

“So when my hair is super clean for the first two or three days, I always use my clean hair brush, and it just keeps it shiny, silky, and tangle-free," she said.

“But when my hair starts to get oily, I always switch over to bamboo, " she added.

She had one final tip: wash your brushes at least once a week.

2. RED LIGHT THERAPY FOR THINNING HAIR

It's worked for her on thinning areas of her hair.

“If you notice any areas where your hair is balding, use red light on them," she said.

"Studies have shown that red light therapy can actually regrow hair, it’s the most amazing thing," she wrote.

But she had consoling words for those who don't have access to a redlight tool. Use hair regrowth drops.

I’ve grown my hair down to my waist – I had to stop using my $6 oil as it got too long & don’t listen to a stylist myth

3. HAIR REGROWTH DROPS

Hair regrowth drops are "amazing," she said.

"I’ve been using them a few times a week and they can really help regrow hair. They are so underrated," she added.

4. SILK SCRUNCHIE

She figured a silk scrunchie would help prevent hair damage and was kinder to your hair.

"Once you see all that hair growing in, you need a silk scrunchie. The bigger the better. It will help your hair so much."

She admitted to sleeping in hers.

5. HAIR DRYING TOWEL

She had heard of these and used to think they were "bulls**t," but not anymore.

"I swear once I started using this, my hair just got so much silkier and healthier," she said.

"Once you get out of the shower put this on," she wrote.

6. DITCH DRY SHAMPOO

Get rid of dry shampoo, she said, and try something else instead. It worked better for her.

"Instead I use a powder, I love them. They’re kind of old-fashioned but you rub them into your scalp and it absorbs all the oil. I felt they worked a lot better," she wrote.

7. SCALP PRE-CLEANSE OIL

This was the ultimate game-changer for her.

"It makes your hair so silky and shiny right when you come out of the shower," she said.

8. LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER

This was one stage that must never be missed.

"Never skip leave-in conditioner. It makes your hair so silky and  healthy throughout the entire week," she said.

9. SILK PILLOWCASE

A silk pillowcase or satin bonnet is an absolute must, she figured.

"If you’re not sleeping in one you must," she said.

"If you can’t afford a silk pillowcase you can get a satin bonnet. But if it’s a pillowcase it must be silk," she added.

10. SCALP MASSAGER

Stimulate those hair follicles with a massager, she advised and used a gua sha tool for hers.

"It stimulates hair growth and it can also be very anti-aging," she said.

"It’s really important to relieve the tension in your scalp at least once a week. I try to do it a few times a week," she said, wrapping up her top ten tips.

Commenters were impressed with her hair and hair hacks.

“Your hair is so lovely," said one person.
