The actor has been revealed as a cast member on the ITV show alongside big names like Love Island's Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and former This Morning host Fern Britton.

Bradley is an actor and author.

He released his first book A Different Kind of Superpower in 2023.

The children's book was written with James A Lyons and is based on Bradley's own autism diagnosis.

Bradley, who found out that he is autistic when he was nine years old, told Vogue of the project: "Everyone is different, so I really wanted to expand on my story so that as many people as possible could find themselves in some part of the character journey.

"I actually wrote it originally as a play, which I hope one day we can actually stage."

In the same Vogue interview Bradley revealed that he got a puppy in 2023 named Nelson.

The star is active on social media and boasts over 324,000 followers on Instagram and over 372,000 on TikTok as of February 2024.

What has Bradley Riches starred in?

Bradley is best known for his role as James McEwan in Netflix series Heartstopper.

He starred in the show, which also featured Kit Connor and Joe Locke, for seven episodes across its first and second series.

According to his IMDb page Bradley also starred in the 2019 war film 1917.

His role in the Oscar-nominated movie, directed by Sam Mendes, is listed as unknown or uncredited on IMDb but his United Agents profile states that he played a soldier.

The profile also lists Bradley as a cast member of the 2023 film Saltburn.

He is credited with playing a "featured character" in the Barry Keoghan-led picture.

In February 2024 it was confirmed that Bradley would star in the second series of BBC horror show Wreck.

The show follows lead character Jamie, played by Oscar Kennedy, as he joins the crew of a cruise ship to investigate his sister's disappearance.

Speaking about his role on Wrecked on social media, Bradley confirmed his character's name is Freddie.

He posted a picture from the series on his Instagram page with the caption: "My next project… WRECK SEASON 2. Meet Freddie. Had so much filming with these amazing people!"

Shortly after Bradley's news about Wrecked was announced it was reported that he was set for the 2024 series of Celebrity Big Brother.

The latest edition of the reality show, which hasn't been on screen for six years, is set to debut on ITV on March 4.

It has been reported that Bradley, who is both openly gay and autistic, hopes signing up for a show will help with representation.

A source told The Sun: "Brad really wants to fly the flag for autistic, queer people on a huge mainstream show like Celebrity Big Brother.

"He was diagnosed with autism when he was nine and is passionate about being an advocate for his community.

"He's keen to show the world that being neurodiverse isn't something that holds you back, it's a superpower."

Strictly Come Dancing's Nikita Kuzmin, former X Factor judge Louis Walsh and Ibiza Weekender star David Potts have also been announced for the Celebrity Big Brother line-up.
